| visited the ferry when it was taken over as alway loved the pub so were so happy when the doors re opend. we decided to eat that evening and waited over half an hour for the stater and then over an hour for our main courses which we never recieved as gave up waiting for them! when we went to compalain at the bar we were told the reason for the wait was because they were really busy! at this point i look around the pub and saw no one else eating or set up for eating and same in the restaurant area where we had just left! at this point i said i would settle the tab for what we had recieved but we were forced to pay for the main courses that we had not recieved as they had my partners card! they were rude and very unprofesional! i will not be returning to this pub while the new land lady and land lord are in their! it is a shame to see such a historic pub being ruined by people with no customer service.
