| Called in enspec, we had excellent ham eggs and chips and fish and chips, so much I had to ask for a doggie bag for the hoom cooked ham but the dog got nowt.Steve and Bev are trying really hard to catch local and passing trade and are renovating, good gluten free and veggie menu. | visited here a couple of years ago after the new owners had just taken over and what a transformation. totally decorated but not overbearing, lots of things going on and the food, drink and service was excellent. husband and wife team now run the food operation and leave the lovely staff to run the bar and waitress.privately owned family run freehouse and the staff told me there buzz word is consistency. consistently super food, good prices, clean premises and the retention of existing staff is the priority i was told. the owners like nothing but the best produce locally sourced and the highest of standards have been set. great to see a pub not having changed hands or being closed down. looking forward to visit more often.[Report for Removal] | brenda kate leeds west yorkshire |

| What a hidden little gem! Fabulous welcome and lovely friendly atmosphere. Beers were superb (according to my son and husband) I had a wonderful coffee... just the ticket! We ate a meal from the baaaa snacks menu as we were in a bit of a rush... we enjoyed it so much that we are going back for our anniversary to sample the a la carte!! | My wife and I call at the Lamb Inn regularly. It's a 10 minute drive, yet worth every inch of the jopurney. There is always a cheerful welcome, whether from Steve or Bev, the proprietors, or any of the very pleasant staff. The Lamb is a Free House, so it is no surprise that the value for money aspect of the wet and dry sales is spot on. We both feel that the fish is superb, and can't think of anywhere within miles that can compare. The steaks are, again, really good, so beautifully tender and tasty. If there is a fault, it's that we can't always eat it all, as the portion sizes are very very large. A good fault, though! The drinks are all in tip top condition. We don't drink a great variety, but we hear what other well satisfied customers say. We thoroughly recommend the Lamb Inn. | we were advised by friends to visit the lamb inn as its reputation was being heralded around.we were not disappointed.we were greeted with a smile, the place was glowing from the log fire, the fish was the best i had ever tasted and the scampi my husband had was the biggest i had ever seen.my husband also tried some hobgoblin beer which he said was perfect.nothing seemed to be any trouble and even an appearance by the chef to another table didnt seem any fuss.on the way out the waitress and the person behind the bar, presumably the landlord said goodbye that wanted me to return the next day. i will recommend this place to my friends and i shall definately be returning.[Report for Removal] | brenda bannister pudsey west yorkshire |

| The Lamb Inn offers fantastic food at a reasonable price. The home cooked Sunday lunches are superb, as is the Steak Pie and the superlative Cheesecake. Contrary to the previous review of this establishment, the landlord prides himself on ensuring his ales are well kept and providing customer satisfaction. All the staff are friendly, helpful and take time out, even when busy, to chat to their customers and make them exceptionally welcome. My personal experience is that they would happily adress any customer concerns that were brought to their attention at the time of your visit. Not only will I be returning time and time again, but I also recommend the Lamb to my friends. It is also a 'dog friendly' pub, which is perfect if you want to spend a leisurely Sunday out with the dog and be able to stop for a home cooked sunday dinner. | we arrived at the lamb on a pre-booked race party as it said in the internet web site.Appauled to find that of the johns smiths, tetley's, and black sheep cask also on sale only sheep available and several pints of this returned cloudy - also guiness tasted sour - coach parties welcome before and after !
