| Everything is great about this pub,it is situated on the High Moors(fantastic scenery)it is full of character with low beams and several open fires,very snug.The bar snacks are ,well,brilliant!There is a dining room but I think most customers (large percentage of walkers)prefer the more casual bar areas to eat in.The dining room is very comfortable however and I believe if you are out specifically to partake of dinner then I am sure your experience would be very good.Being a real ale enthusiast (not the 1/2 pint "got one bubble too many to the square inch type")more the fantastic, again please.They sell "old peculiar"and many more really good ales ,well kept,well served.They also do Bed and Breakfast.I am a pub guvnor and am insanely jealous of this pub-I want it!![Report for Removal] | Kelvin Spalding Lincolnshire |

| This pub is in the middle of knowhere on top of the North York moors and is well worth trying to find. If you are a walker in the area you will already know of its location but if you are out for a drive make time to stop and have a bite to eat the food is home cooked as you would notice it is always busy but not to busy to fit you in providing you don't mind waiting a small amount of time, the Ale to is excellent they do say that the accomodation is worth a try if only for the location and the experience of stopping in a truly out of the way traditional stone built pub[Report for Removal] | Craig Stephenson HULL East yorkshire |
