| Have had ok meals here before but went yesterday & it was poor. Went in & there were few people with nobody else at the bar, the guy behind the bar could hardly raise a smile or speak. Beer was ok but both meals were not good. Both were cold, the meat in the pie was fatty & full of grissle. I had told the server that it was the worst meal we had had for a very long time and although there was a complimentary coffe offfered, an apology from the manager would have been more appropriate and better received. | I think that The foaming Jug is a wonderful place to eat and all of the staff including the manager are friendly. I have never had to wait a long time for my meals unless it is busy which you have to expect.
