| We went for a meal there. Food was excellent but the service was shocking! We arrived at 7:20 and sat down at our table. It took about 15 minutes just to get a menu to look at. We finally ordered about 7:45pm and did not get the food until about 8:30pm. We had finished the meal and then sat there waiting for someone to come over to see us for pudding and clear the plates. We waited until 9:30pm where one of us had to go to the bar and ask for someone to come over and serve us. We got our pudding about 9:45pm but then again had to go back to the bar around 10:30pm to get someone to clear the plates and give us the bill. This time I spoke to the manager who apologised and said that waitresses thought that the plates had been cleared from the table after the main but didn't check even though there was a couple on the table behind us who sat down after us and managed to have 3 courses plus coffee, pay and leave in the time we had 2 courses. We then got the bill and had no good will gesture paying full price for a meal and service which really was not value for money. They were however quick enough to collect the money off the table. That was the fastest service we got all night!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone and was a very poor experience all round.[Report for Removal] | Adam Sharp Bridgnorth Shropshire |
