| A consistently good pint for decades, and an open a friendly atmosphere. The layout of the bar is such that there are no excluded corners. In some ways an old fashioned pub, where you can relax and have a drink. Not a restaurant or kids pub, but certainly in terms of being a relaxing pub where you can have a few pints, it's the best of it's type. The new landlord, Steve, is a real ale fan, with previous awards for the pubs he's run.
