| Since there has been new management in the pub this has took right off, They have done so much to this inside and out. They are doing really well for there selves. They have a karaoke on every Friday which is a real good laugh and the staff get up too!! It has been cleaned throughout the whole building and is up to good standards now. They have even opened the function room that hasnt been open for at least 4 years and they have done that out nice so it can be used again. I cant wait for the summer so we can see what they will do with the beer garden which is out the back, As one of the bar staff said he is thinking of opening that. The place looks like its a different pub, The staff are great and deserve to get the most out of this, They have all worked very hard on it so far. | I went in the highland lad pub and the staff there could not do enough for me, I was new to the area and they were very friendly, polite, and helpfull. It has a nice atmosphere in the pub and has a nice coal fire (not that it was on then but would have been really nice if it was).
