| Visited the Chequers, Challock, on Sept 15. The whole pub was extremely dirty and the ladies' lavatories were a disgrace. Only one loo was working, the loo seat was broken and there was no toilet paper. Even the wine glasses were filthy, with lipstick marks on them. We drank a glass of wine (which was warm) and waited two hours for food, before asking for our money back. The landlord was brusque when we complained. Never again![Report for Removal] | mary arnold ashford kent |
