| 13 of us ramblers went in for a lunch stop pint. We were greeted by a straight face and not a word of welcome.The beer I ordered was below standard for a Ringwood product.When in the town again we will not be visiting this unfriendly pub.[Report for Removal] | Dave Testwood Hants |

| It was fine. Three of us had lunch. My wife an acceptable battered cod, my guest a large plate of liver and bacon and my self a PROPER gammon steak with all the trimmings. To follow a sticky toffee pudding, creme brulee and a stunning icecream sundae. With soft drinks the bill for three was just £47. Good well cooked food at exceptional value. | My wife and I decided to have lunch at The Vine, we walked in and stood in front of the till there were no other customers standing at the bar. The barman was putting together a rather large order from a table in the right hand corner and a lady was looking in cupboards behind the bar to the left with her back towards us. After several minutes waiting not once did the barman look up from pulling drinks and checking the till to acknowledge our presence or to request the lady to serve us. There was no eye contact at all. A few minutes later a gentleman came from a room down to the left whereupon the lady immediately served him, neither she or the barman acknowledged the fact that we had been waiting all that time. We walked out and went to the Three Cups where we had great service and wondeful food. | My wife daughter and I went to Vine for a meal yesterday afternoon and it was dreadful. My wife had the roast beef and I had the roast lamb. The meat was cold and the lamb was thinly cut and very fatty. The roast potatoes were old and inedible. My daughter had ribs with salad with no offer of a dressing. I would rate this as the worst meal I've ever had in a pub. | Went with family to this coaching inn & was so upset at the poor quality & standard of the food which used to be great a couple of years ago.. Local award winning butchers "Robinsons" sausages, were not on the menu anymore & i cant believe the pub used their meat which i always purchase & recommend when i visit the area.
