| I have been going to The Peat Spade for four years now when I am in the area. I have eaten and stayed there many more times than I could count and have found, without exception that ambiance, service and quality of food and accommodation (not to mention the wine lsit) has never failed to impress. From my first visit I was made to feel welcome, and I really would not hesitate recommmending this to anyone who is lucky enough to visit Stockbridge (also gorgeous!!.[Report for Removal] | tanya thorne London London |

| We felt that although some of the food was excellent, some elements were also poor & not good value for money. Despite the lovely decor we were treated as part of the furniture ! Our meal had no garnish, no greenery whatsoever. I feel this pub concentrates on making money above all else & is only superficially good. But those of us looking for very good food and good value with a welcoming atmosphere should perhaps think again.I have now been twice to this pub & would hesitate before going again.
