| Worst meal I have ever had - the food was either raw or incinerated and when a large shard of plastic was found in a starter it was blamed on the suppliers - so they dont even prepare the food on the premises !! If you want to leave feeling hungry and ripped off then this is the pub for you ![Report for Removal] | Dee chippenham wilts |

| I live about 5 minutes away from this pub & feel I ought to support it but the food prices are just far too expensive for the type of pub & location it is in. Pubs of this nature ought to have bar meals for around £7-£9 to encourage the locals to come for tea rather than having most meals at at least £12 or more. Chippenham is lucky that it has so many lovely village pubs nearby and so the Pheasant has to recognise it isn't a luxury venue and price it's menu as such - myself and others would be far more likely to go more often if they did this. The food (other than price) is ok, very edible but nothing special.[Report for Removal] | Ann Hardie Chippenham Wiltshire |

| Very very poor food. Worst meal Ive had out for many years. Examples - duck served on cold 'salsa' souce (out of a jar) vegetables embarrasing, chips undercooked, not particularly cheap either - main courses about £16. Service friendly but clueless. Pub, bar service and atmosphere OK - just avoid the restaurant![Report for Removal] | tim smith chippenham wiltshire |
