| 1st visit friday evening 3rd October 2008. Very friendly and great atmosphere. Brilliant live music. Couldnt book a table for dinner on the day as it was fully booked. | charming staff could not disguise the total lack of organisation last sunday on fathers day when 4 of us having prebooked a table had what my be described as a fawlty towers experience! i think our order was taken 4 times before it was agreed between us and the staff that we wanted and they had the portions! even then they managed to take to the wrong table and we were told the meals had been discarded! when we did get and we had to keep asking for condiments and vegetables the food was very good and in the case of the roast beef cooked exactly how we wanted. we wer told that they had only been open for a week and working to improve. i would suggest that as we all had come from a distance it will be a while before we go back-a complementary drink would have been a nice gesture to make up for the total 'fawltyesque' experience[Report for Removal] | JULES sywell northants |
