| Wow.... have known of this place for 15 years, and what a transformation. The new owners have revamped the outside with window boxes and hanging baskets, inside was refurbished just last month. Being a real ale drinker i was pleasantly surprised to see awards for excellence of their real ales, namely Abbot, Speckled Hen and IPA. The best pint in Berkshire without a doubt. Comfortably furnished, fantastic coffees and lovely log fires. Recommend their "Specials Board" the chef has travelled the world and uses authentic ingredients.... A real warm, friendly atmosphere, fantastic beers and company, a world apart from the juke box and pool table of yesteryear. Will be back soon.[Report for Removal] | Chris Maidenhead Berkshire |
