| Pie and chips was excellent, the rest of the food tasted like it had been reheated, very slow service, the pub was quiet and yet it took 40 minutes to serve 4 main courses, which then came 10 minutes apart. Outside was a carpet of cigarette ends, the tables were not cleared in the 30 minutes we sat outside. The toilets smelt, had no locks on the doors and the ceiling was falling down in 1 of the cubicles.Very dissapointed[Report for Removal] | sharon Woodley Berks |

| This excellent pub in the cobbled streets is local CAMRA's Pub of The Year for 2006. They serve 5 ever changing guest ales and the quality is superb. The food is very good too.
