| Very very well run McMullen pub. Young team and service but professional and courteous. Typical gastro pub layout but clean, presentable and the food is well presented, served correctly and great to eat for 'Brake' brothers pub style food. It passes the Mother-in-law test and is an obvious upmarket escape from the surrounding villages and towns - notably Stevenage. The new money comes here and mingles with the not so much monies but who cares as there is no trouble and it is a thoroughly relaxing pub. They even have two bitters on which see regular service - the AK ale included. Recommend to escape the urban madness and to take and placate the Mother in law. You will need to drive as removed from Watton and Stevenage Long may it continue. [Report for Removal] | Matthew Nicoll Stevenage Herts |
