Found it to be a very nice atmosphere. It was VERY quiet but in a nice way. Was a nice break from chav-infested pubs and the associated binge-drinking. They had a big screen TV at one end of the pub but seem to have lost the pool table since the last time i went some months ago (along with the rough crowd thankfully!) They also had a friendly little dog which i'm told everyone in Dronfield seems to know of!?! We had food whilst there and it was absolutely fantastic. I had a lovely lamb shank on a pile of nice mash and the girlfriend had a real ale pie! Really good quality and felt very "homely" cooked! I do quite a lot of mystery visits to pubs and this place seems very genuine. It's major downside is it's off the beaten track of Dronfield (Stoops, Dragon etc...) but that could work to it's advantage if you're after a quieter pub for a quiet drink and a nice meal.[Report for Removal] Andrew Taylor
