| We arrived at this pub 7:15pm Haloween night - 31st Oct 09. Bought drinks and ordered food for four. About 8:30pm barman checked our food order with us. Still no food by 9pm so left to pick up a take-away. Not a great experience. The Pub has recently been re-furbished and now feels more like a wine bar than a pub. No soft furnishings so very noisy. | Totally excellent on all counts. Friendly service, good menu with something for everyone. Small but well chosen wine list at sensible prices. A total bill of just over £100 for five of us, including two bottles of wine, struck me as very reasonable for the quality of food on offer.
