| I disagree with the previous rating. I live in Theale and know all the pubs well. The Lamb used to be the village mecca for real ale fans, with the small saloon bar having interesting guest beers each week. The new landlord came in and installed Courage Best which was never in good condition. Last time I was in I was told that they's stopped doing real ale becasue "there's no demand for it". Nonsense. If they offered a decent pint, people would buy it. I find the pub dismal and unappealing. Last two times I was in the place was full of bikers. I'm sure they're nice people but I found the atmosphere intimidating.Not a pub I'd recommend.[Report for Removal] | Theale_imbiber Theale Berks |

| We can always be sure of a good welcome at the Lamb, Excellent company , good food , clean. and friendly staff make it worth the while to travel from Thatcham. We class it as our local. The landlord offers a wide range of events (musically)to sort all needs. There is a skittle alley that can be hired A room where you can have meetings They boast a very good pool team (win nearly all their matchs) Please go and visit and see for yourselves you wont be dissapointed.
