| The food is good, fresh fish from a local fishmonger delivered daily, good cuts of meat and a healthy plateful. Really accomodating to people with various dietary problems. Atmosphere is of a traditional English family pub, oak beams, comfy seats and genial hosts. It is very busy at times so it is wise to book, especially for Friday and Saturday evenings. Good front of house senior barman who keps watchful eye on what is going on throughout pub. Varied menu and some nice surprises like wild boar. The do excellent curries. Bar food is good too and everyone loves the puds!. [Report for Removal] | Tyger Basingstoke Hampshire |

| I have been there three or four times, alone once and the rest with guests. Each time the food has been excellent, the best pub food, I have encountered, in my seventy years all over England. The staff were very efficient and the service brilliant. I cannot fault. The lady is delightful. Gerry G[Report for Removal] | Gerry Goldfinch Berkhamsted Herts |

| "Chris" your review is total rubbish. I go to the Queen to eat every week, have done for the past 3 years, the food is excellent and the service faultless. I can only assume you are one of these finicky, picky people who are never happy unless moaning about something. [Report for Removal] | Harriet Clarke Basingstoke Hampshire |
