| Arrived at the Inn the waiter did not evan acknowledge us for several minutes eventually showed us to our pre booked table asked if we wanted a drink but I asked for Wine List which was slow coming made my choice only to be told no half bottles available although advertised as my partner & I like differant wines.So chose a full bottle. Then came our choice of food my choice shewed chips withit so asked if I could have Roast or New instead(they were on the menu)told in no uncertain terms only chips with my choice.At that I said we wold leave which we then did a really poor way to run a business will not go there again and will suggest to friends to avoid the place.[Report for Removal] | B.Andrews Saltash Cornwall |

| A huge disappointment! Went to the Notter Bridge Inn for lunch yesterday and was very disappointed with both the service and the food. On arrival, we were handed our menus and informed they had no ham, duck or lamb! The starter of breaded mushrooms was dismal - 5 tiny button mushrooms, approximately two mouthfuls! A very limited childrens menu - asked for a smaller portion of the carbonara only to be told that we would still have to pay the adult price! Wish we didn't bother, the carbonara was revolting, full of very salty and fatty bacon, far too much cream in a very runny sauce. The vegetables for the beef cobbler arrived 5 minutes before the beef cobbler and consequently went cold. The soggy saute potatoes were swimming in oil. The cauliflower was brown. | This was a very dissapointing visit as we found the food to be mediocre. I had Californian Chicken (or something like that) and it turned out to be Chicken Goujons and Chips with a chilli sauce and this cost me £8!!! My wife had a steak and asked for a rare steak and it came out overcooked, in fact it was nearly well done. The staff seemed to not care about the public and it seeemed a chore for them to serve us.
