| Having eaten at The Gregory several times (formerly The Gregory Arms) I can't utter a word of complaint. The interior decor is a vast improvement, staff are polite and hard-working and the food has always been of a very high standard, even when I attended a function for 50-odd people. | A very nice gastro pub which has been recently taken over and refurbished and cleaned to a very high standard. Staff all friendly, helpful and polite. Lovely ambiance, fabulous real fireplace and great food. Very nice to go for a meal, equally nice lounge area to go for a drink ( the wines are lovely too). | service was of poor standard we were recommended,food minimal no smiles wrong orders given no customer care. sorry but will not revisit.It was a special occasion which made it worse,expected a higher standard of service hope they will take a positive approach to this review,no cuttelery no side plates coffee was drunk before milk and sugar was presented,did not mind the wait as we did not pre order but no body seemed to be in hand of the situation, little bit of sparkle would have been nice,also we were not asked once if everything was ok.[Report for Removal] | nigel lincoln lincs |
