| I ate at the Horse & Jockey in March 2010 on a Saturday night. We were booked in for 7.00pm and finished 3 courses by 8.45pm. We felt rushed. Desserts was a complete rip off. 3 mouthfuls for £6.00. The starters were good. But none of our party of 4, were happy with their mains. Food was very bland and chicken dish was dry with no gravy offered. | i have visited the horse and jockey twice in two weeks to have lunch.The atmosphere is warm and welcoming,the staff are courteous and polite,the food is excellent and presented beautifully.The access for disabled people is very good with the room size and large disabled toilet. | Recently refurbished and under new management, this pub has so much to offer from excellent food to wonderful atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome indeed. whether you just go for a drink or a full three course meal I think it would be a great choice for either.
