| The George Inn is a traditional country pub with dark beams and a sucession of small rooms surrounding the bar and an open fire place. We found the staff to be friendly and efficiant and the general atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant. With our group there was a young child and two babies and we were pleased to find a baby changing table in the disabled toilets, high chairs and a children's food menu. The food was the highlight for us though, there was a varied menu to choose from with most main meals costing around £10, some less and the specials slightly more. When the food arrived the portion sizes were generous and everyone's meals tasted delicious, we all agreed probably the best quality pub meal we'd had for such a reasonable price. There is a car park to the side of the pub and a nice tidy looking beer garden some of which is covered. A great find and we will be returning.[Report for Removal] | Katie Maidstone Kent |
