| We went on a wednesday evening at 6pm for a family meal, 6 of us. Although the majority of the food and service was good, the t-bone steak we asked for medium and came through rare, the lager tasted of vanilla (even though we asked for them to be changed, it didn't make a difference) the restaurant was cold so as we had a 3mth old baby with us we asked if we could shut the door, which we got permission from the bar staff but then the landlady came through with a very bad attitude and said we had to leave it open and was very rude, we asked 3 times and she was just damn rude. Its was 1C outside, the main door was open and then the restaurant door right alongside it open, the reply was that the heating was on flat out (1 little radiator to fill a big room). The landlady stormed out saying it was her pub and her rules and went back the other side of the bar to drink more of her tasty pints and stare at us, definately not the attitude to have it you want regular custom. Probably a good pub when its warm and if you don't mind drinking out of bottles. Definately not a family pub as it says it is on sign![Report for Removal] | Nikki Umpleby Caistor LINCOLNSHIRE |
