| Genuine village pub with numerous well kept real ales 12?( I did not try them all!!) Landlord with the right attitude, excellent home cooked food, very large open fire.Large beer garden with river on one side and canal on other. lively mix of locals, walkers and cyclists in this excellent pub. I visited at lunchtime but I am certain that in the evening very well used by the locals. Plenty of competition in this interesting small village with three other pub/restuarants.
