| Pub updated and refurbished to a high standard in 2008. New landlord and landlady, nice welcome, good food. Beer very well kept. New patio area with umbrellas, suitable for smokers. | This was a real find - a country pub with good beer and food and a welcoming landlord. There is plenty of accommodation inside and out including a small flagstoned bar where dogs are allowed so walkers are welcomed.
