| Celebrating my fathers 72nd birthday, we decided to have a meal (party of eight)at Gwystre Inn. We checked early in the day and were told we had to be there and order for 18.15, which was no problem. We ordered our meals and waited approx. 15/20 mins which again was not a problem. The problems started when the food arrived at our table. My fathers lasagna and chips were cold. My brothers well done steak was rare. My sister in laws med steak was very rare. My own steak pie and veg arrived with cold veg and re-fried chips, to which it was sent back to the kitchen and when it came back out the chips were swimming in old fat, again the meal went back to the kitchen but came out greasy again. To which I returned my meal to the bar and asked to speak to the manager/cook. I voiced my opinion with regards to the meal and was told that I was being fussy. I told the manager that I actually run my own bar / restuarant in Blackpool and would not serve any customers with food like they were serving and was told to leave the Inn.
