| Just got back from the Munnings after a large family Mothers day meal. As we walked in there where several staff around but not one even bothered to acknowledge us. After that disappointment it all went badly down hill. As we were a large ish party we had pre ordered main courses and desserts. Well, the roast potatoes were almost inedible, a roast lamb had to be sent back as it was almost entirely fat and gristle, there was only one dish of vegetables, the beef required some serious muscles to get through it but the kids meals were reasonably good!!! Apparently, crumble is made using boiled apples in the bottom of a bowl, crumble mixture sprinkled on top and shown to the grill - nearly all of those went back. When we spoke extremely politely to the 'Manager' we were told 'no one else had complained' and 'that is how you make crumble'. There was no sort of apology and we were more or less told we didn't know what we were talking about. After an argument when it came to paying the bill a small discount was arranged.
