| I agree that the landlords at this pub are not very nice people. They do not offer a friendly welcome and have very poor customer service. The landlady is drunk on most nights which is not a good image to display. While the landlord expects everyone to listen to him. Like most pubs there is a karaoke night. But in this pub the karaoke is completely hogged by the landlord. He puts himself first before the customer's and often sings more songs than everyone else put together. It’s like it’s his toy and he wont let anyone else have a go. I thought that the customer always came first; well this is definitely not the case at this pub. I have been in the pub when fights have broken out and I know there has been lots of under aged drinkers in the pub. The only positive aspect of the pub is the food. But this has got nothing to do with the landlords, it’s a privately run business franchised out from the pub. As for banning the group of girls I think that is totally unbelievable and out of order. I know the girls and they are some of the nicest and friendliest people you will meet. The landlords should be absolutely disgraced at their actions. | This pub is run by 2 immature people. They banned a group of females for no reason other than their sexual orientation. Bare in mind this group have been using the pub for a long time and have spent a great deal of money at the bar. These girls had done absolutely nothing wrong and in no way upset other customers in the pub. The evil homophobic comments that were made by the landlords direct to the girl’s faces was an absolute disgrace. No-one should be subject to facing the comments that were thrown at the girls. The landlord also stated that he was not happy to serve coloured or disabled people at the pub, and exclaimed he could ban an ugly person if he wanted too. To over hear the evil comments made by both landlords was truly awful and I for one will not be returning. The landlords were out of order to ban such a fun loving group of individuals, and a lot of people have stood by the group.[Report for Removal] | Disappointed Brough East Yorkshire |
