| A lovely looking pub in a beautiful village was spoiled by lax service unfortunately. We stopped here on Sunday in the middle of a five mile walk and although the staff were friendly enough they paid little attention to our lunch orders – they brought my husband the wrong dish and I was told mine wasn't available – 20 minutes after I ordered it. It would have been understandable if they were understaffed, but the pub was very quiet. Oh – and no loo roll in both ladies loos. Maybe we arrived on a bad day! | It has taken some time to establish with the locals but they are well on their way now! Lovely, friendly and prompt service. Delicious and unusual food including local meat and mushrooms. Highly recommended to all. Great with children too.[Report for Removal] | Zara de Candole Godalming SURREY |
