| We had some friends staying with us this weekend and at the last minute we decided to go out for a Sunday lunch. We phoned half an hour before and the Hunters Inn said they could reserve us a table for 7 including a 3 year old who was with us. We arrived to a very warm welcome, ordered and collected our drinks from the bar and was then shown our table in the main restaurant. Lovely big table (linen tablecloth) and they had a booster seat all ready for our friends little girl. The service was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable about the food being served and the food was spot on. Home reared beef and many other options including vegetarian. I would heartily reccommend this pub for its warm atmosphere, good food and attentative staff, who made us all feel very welcome. Well done!! | Hello there, I thought I'd take this opportunity to say what a fantastic night we all had, having travelled up from South Wales to celebrate a friends 60th in your pub. What a fantastic setting and a great pub, Your bar staff where excellent!!!! especially the barman who dealt with us and the Badger family!! outstanding!! Hold on to him!!! The food was first class and so tasty, I will be returning soon, to sample your fine fare, as a sit down which looked so sc rummy, also I have passed on my recommendations to people to stop and try out your hospitality.
