| This is our third visit, we took friends because of our previous two visits. We had sea food sensation, fish pie, lasagne and a pork steak between us. All were served piping hot, again I am imprest by the quality and quantity of the food served. We all enjoyed the meal very much. | We had put this on our list for a revisit, so today we did. We arrived lunch time a little later than before, this time to find the car park in use!!. There were a number of large parties already in the dining area so we decided to eat in the bar area. We sat next to the open log fire with the winters sun beating through the window. We both ate from the Bar set menu, again we were not disappointed. Our meal was served promptly and like before with piping hot vegatables on the side. This one goes on our trusted list of pubs to visit with friends. We did hear one customer complain!! "The portions are to big". Now for me that's one complaint to many. | The wife and I ate there for Saturady lunch. The place was empty, perhaps it normally is at this time of day, maybe its the credit crunch, or just our poor weather. The good news for us was a choice of where to sit. There was a good menu with a specials board. The wife had duck breast, I opted for the ostriche steak, both meals were supplied with fresh vegatables. Our food was to die for with the vegatable being served piping hot.
