| At first sight this pub doesn't look much, because you arrive at the back. It is set at the end of a long quiet lane and is on the bank of the Severn. Its a much different story when you round the corner where there is a large lawned area with ample seating with extensive views. The landlord is a real character and on what was a cold quiet day entertained his guests without being intrusive. The food menu is displayed on chalk boards and would cover most tastes. We had a hearty meal of Sea Bass for my wife and I had braised steak. We almost licked the plates clean it was that good. [Report for Removal] | John Gloucester Gloucestershire |
