| Very friendly local pub serving excellent sunday lunch - possibly best in gloucestershire. While a typical forest pub - quite small and some dated decor, the atmosphere is amazing, especially on one of their party nights. Recently the land lady and land lord have effectively extended the bar area to outside using an open marquee - excellent for smokers. With a stylish "terrace" feel including music and lots of light & heat you may forget that you are actually sat outside. Again I would have to say that in my opinion this is one of the best adaptations to make smokers still feel welsome that I have seen.
