| Great beer, and our party of 24 all had a nice meal apart from me! My battered cod was seriously overcooked to the extent that the batter had turned a very dark brown and the fish was dry. I politely sent it back expecting the mistake to be acknowledged and a new piece of fish served. Instead the chef marched to our table and told me that there was nothing wrong with it. He was rude and aggressive and offered no alternative meal, free drink etc. etc. Turns out he was the proprietor. Treating customers like this in an out of the way location is tantamount to commercial suicide and we later heard that he is in fact going out of business. Hardly surprising.[Report for Removal] | Jonny White Bideford Devon |
