| I visited The Bush Inn yesterday,2nd August, I ordered 'pan fried local sea bass with'wilted spinach and roasted cherry vine tomatoes'. This was actually a very small fillet of bass, with one cherry tomatoe and two tiny spinach leaves.Very poor. When i repied to the ubiquitous'everything allright?' that the menu was misleading the waitress dissapeared 'to tell chef' End of story.I agree with previous review.this was the second time of eating at this pub, both times below expectations,it will definately be the last. In March the pub was so cold we had to leave- 'the roaring fire'advertised remained unlit. stay clear.[Report for Removal] | janice moore lesnewth cornwall |

| 31 August 2008 - Steer Clear! We cycled here to have a traditional Sunday Roast Lunch (as the pub's website states it serves this from 12noon to 430PM). We were very disappointed to discover that although we arrived at 135PM they had run out of the Roast!! Obviously a busy day for them (or so they will tel you) but if you advertise you do something to bring in the trade then do it! The views are not breathtaking unless you suffer from Athsma and the lunch (when we were finally served at 245PM) was average. The deserts are all 4.95 (even if you are 6 years old!) and do not warrant the cost. The staff need a personality and the pub is after your money with upmarket prices for a basic meal! Basically The Bush Inn is a huge money making machine. Steer clear!! [Report for Removal] | R Cornick Bristol Avon |
