| We arrived at the Brendon Arms at 1301Hrs, for a Valentines day's lunch. Our order was taken immediately on arrival, it included two coffees, these were served within a minute or two. However after waiting 25 minutes we were advised that our meal was "on its way". After 35 minutes we we told, in all seriosness, that our order was such large cod it took muchlonger to cook !! During our wait we obseved two or three dishes of recently served food being returned to the kitchen. At 1355hrs the waitress came to advise that the Fish was off, not just off the menu but not fit to serve !! Our advanced payment was returned and we were left too late for lunch elswhere.
