| The Ostler is an excellent place to visit. I made telephone enquiries as to whether it would be suitable for a large group of people to celebrate a 70th birthday. It was short notice and although very busy was informed by the landlord that this would be no problem for them to cater for a party of 10. I asked if the restaurant was non smoking although there are smokers within ourparty it is much better to enjoy your meal without cigarette smoke in your eyes. I booked the table and upon arrival was able to set up a tab so that I could settle up at the end of the evening. This local pub is full of charm and character. The landlord and his wife are very welcoming and the regular customers are very friendly and helpful. With a variety of drinks and home cooked meals this is an ideal place to visit for either a large group or if you just want somewhere to go for a traditional Sunday Roast.[Report for Removal] | Rebecca Sumner Cullompton Devon |

| after going to this pub ifound that the service was not good. the food tasted like it was microwaved. the prices very expensive expensive. i think who ever gave this pub a good review must be trying to help this struggleing business. will never go there again. i would give this pub 1 out 0 10 ten be highest. i would of found more enjoyment watching paint dry never again that is for sure. i fought i would write this review to try and warn others of this so called "pub" more like slum.[Report for Removal] | gary chapton cullomton devon |
