| A 'locals' pub through and through and none the worse for that. A limited lager and ale availability and with a circular bar and to the rear a beer garden. If you want a traditional pub you will like this one and it seems friendly enough. A rather loud bar manager and expensive rounds of drinks is the dampener on this pub. When we were there it was packed out for the football but we were served easily enough and there was no hint of trouble. It doesnt do food (or at least not when we were there) but that is no bad thing as the pub concentrates on being a place to drink. Would suggest this does not pass the mother in law test and it certainly doesnt attract the Range Rover set so even more reason to come here an enjoy a pint. It gets a well above average rating for that fact alone! [Report for Removal] | matthew enfield middlesex |
