| Don't visit if you are a vegetarian. I visited The European after a recommendation but was very disappointed. There was only one vegetarian dish on the menu a souffle so I asked if there was any other vegetarian dishes and I was given a choice of the souffle or a hard goat cheese salad, I chose the latter. It was bland and had no taste, there was no dressing to give it flavour and I was charged £10.00 for a few lettuce leaves, hard goat cheese and a lot of croutons![Report for Removal] | Mrs G Towner Dorchester Dorset |

| This is a total gem. The room was lovely with great attention to detail to make our stay very comfortable. The staff are delightful and very welcoming. The evening meal was delicious. What a fab menu. The puddings in particular were to die for. The breakfast was full English at its very best. I shall return to sample more of the homemade fare, once my waistline has recovered. | Fantastic food, service and very friendly pub / restuarant atmosphere. so impressed we booked again on checking out! Best english breakfast going and beleive me you will be hard pushed to finish the portions! very good value for money and great home food even for kids as for the rooms, there is nothing alse around to compare to this. i have to say well done to the new owners who have made it a very enjoable and comfertable stay.
