| Your previous reviewers obviously havn't been to The George recently. We went there on Fathers' Day and the food, staff and ambience were second to none. We were made to feel very welcome and were not rushed, even though they were extremely busy. | I to have been to this so called pub/restaurant in meopham and if it had lived up to half of what thay think thay are it would had been better. First of all you pull up into a large car park which is full of cars yet you walk into a emty bar and restaurant i take it that the locals use it AS A CAR PARK AND THEN GO HOME. The building is old just like the staff, Good food should talk for its self because the staff cannot string to words together. At this stage I wish i had left but i was silly to go ahead and order food. waste of money and time do your self a faver do not go near this place. | As visitors from Brighton 2 friends and myself visited The George one evening for food and drink. The food was terrible, the curry looked and tasted like a frozen one brought from a supermarket and for £10 this wasnt good enough. The staff and local customers didnt make us feel at all welcome and at one stage the landlord even threw my change at me. The only staff member that was nice was someone called Donna. At least she had the decency to talk to us. I thought a little local pub like this one would value new customers but this clearly isnt the case. So anyone reading this who is thinking about visting this location and is not local to Meopham I have one word for you... DON'T.[Report for Removal] | Donna Brighton East Sussex |
