| We visited the Star at 8:15pm on Friday 25th February. The food was of a very poor quality, the medium rare steak was dry and cooked well done! It certainly was not 'aged'. The lamb shank was very overcooked and dry, the sesonal veg were carrots and frozen peas - the mashed potato was lumpy. We did not stay for dessert - the worst meal we have had - would not recommend.[Report for Removal] | Mr & Mrs Roberts Nantwich Cheshire |

| 2 of us visited for a meal on 9/10/10. very disappointed with food as Tai Green Curry was very bland & watery. Carbonara was nothing special. Service was very poor as waitress taking order leaned all over next table. A waitress asked us if everything was alright with our food, when we said no she said she would get Chef to come & speak with us, about 20minutes later still no chef so we went to pay bill. The bills could not be found at first & when they were they had not been written up so we had to wait while the waitress found a menu to copy from. Will not be visiting there again [Report for Removal] | Mrs Susan Smith chester cheshire |

| Spent half a day trying to call this pub. The line appears to be disconnected. Does this pub actually exist?[Report for Removal] | John Cowan CAMBRIDGE Cambs |

| Good country pub - no TV but a roaring fire and dogs encouraged. Friendly staff and real ale! Food basic but well cooked.[Report for Removal] | Bill Christie Winkhill Staffs |
