| MY wife and I visited this pub at lunchtime midweek on a rainy day in June. Although very quiet we were treated to a warm welcome. Main meals chosen from the full Menu were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.[Report for Removal] | Brian Chappell Great Notley Essex |

| This pub was recommended to us, which is always a good sign. We have visited this pub twice now, once midday and once in the evening. If you are looking for a place to have a meal, then you will not be dissapointed. The main meals and dessert are heavenly. The pub is very well presented and the staff are attentive, but not over the top. | My husband and I have been to this pub on two occasions and we had an excellent meal both times. The first time we went we had steak which was cooked to perfection and the second we had their xmas menu and we had pheasant which was equally delicious!
