| I recently visited the Carne arms for sunday lunch and I can honestly say it was the best yet! Myself and my family tend to eat out every Sunday and will now make this our regular. The welcome and the service was outstanding. The lunch was delicious and the portions were good with an exellent choice of vegetables. I will recommend this to anyone but suggest you book as we do or you may be disappointed[Report for Removal] | clair andrews cowbridge vale of glamorgan |

| If your in this part of Wales a visit to the Carne arms is a must. Great ale, friendly locals, and the best food I've tried in ages. The bread and butter pudding is a must as is the local lamb. Stay at the Crossways Manor House, £45 for top class B&B then stroll down the lane to this gem of a pub. [Report for Removal] | Mark Higgins Rochester England |

| This is a real pub. Good beer and excallent food. Both Luke and Fletch know how to run this pub. Luke's hard work in the kitchen is paying off and Fletch is working well out front. Well done. This pub is well worth a visit.[Report for Removal] | Rob Sydenham Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan. Wales |

| June/July 2007. Under new management, and although I cannot compare with the old landlord, (1st visit in 20 yrs), the new people, (James & Luke), appear determined to make a name as a fine pub. Abbot Ale; HB; Directors, (and my favourite), Bass are all drawn. Food is tip top and reasonably priced. Should you like chips, I would advise that they are ‘proper’, not ‘plastic’ bought in reconstituted rubbish, so leave the waistline worries at home. Puds are also proper stuff, (there’s that waistline again). Comprehensive wine list; house wines by the glass are not too expensive either. Now to the pub itself:- large car park; beer garden but could be prettier from the outside, however, internally full of character. Wheelchair friendly. I think they’re closed Mondays so check first. But don’t all rush at once, leave a space for me. I’m certainly going back. By ROY THE CHAIR [Report for Removal] | Roy The Chair CARDIFF Vale Of Glamorgan |
