| We visited here in December, the place was like an igloo, the sitting area was closed off (possibly to hide the kitchen!. The food took over an hour to come and when it did it was freezing cold and half cooked. Steak was cremated, mushrooms were raw, onions rings were tasteless and the (beef)burger wasn't beef!. when we complained they asked if we'd like our food rewarmed. it was most definately the worst meal that we have had.... | We Visited the pied piper today the ninth of January 2009 as we have many times in the past. This time without the family thank goodness. The food was not good the ambience non existent. I really felt I Would like to givethe place a good clean. Second the food took a long time to come and my roast dinner was tasteless and cold and my husbands salad and scampi was fine until he tasted the coleslaw which we both thought tasted of cod liver oil. Not a good experience (How I wished they still served the lovely hot food we used to get there. Worst was to come several hours later we were both suffering the after effects of a very poor quality meal. Having very happy memories of not too long ago enjoying the food and the ambience. | Had a Meal there on Monday 1st sept 2008, Table of 5, Well Done Steak Was Burnt on outside and Red on inside, Scampi Was Formed Scampi not the real thing. Rice with the curry, was Brown as if it was boiled in Dirty water, Used to have good food there a few Years back, but that is the last time i will be going there[Report for Removal] | Ian Pugh Crosskeys Gwent |
