| visit this the Bucket and Spade about once a month because we dont live locally. The place used to look a bit tired but it was decorated earlier this year and is now very pleasant. I understand the managers have been there for about a year now and they have turned the place around. The good is value for money 2 for £10 and there is a buffet on Sundays. As with most places at the moment the service can be a little slow but that is because of the recession and they have had to cut down a bit on their staff. A few weeks ago we were stuck on the M5 for 6 hours after an incident we decided to come off and go to the "Bucket". The place was rammed, but the manageress I thin she is called Shelley was marvelous. She explained that there would be a delay on food but it was better to sit there than in the traffic. I cannot tell you how welcoming she was to all of us, what a star. As a result we now call into the Bucket and Spade whenever we are in the area. Keep up the good work.
