| booked for my husbands birthday and to get away for the night ,recieved phone call 3 hrs before book in time to tell me room double booked after recieving conformation earlier in week. would not reccomend this place cos theyl cancel your booking for a better offer [Report for Removal] | denise welch lewes east sussex |

| Since my last visit a lot of work has been done to improve this pretty Pub. The main bar is lighter, the outside has been painted and the toilets improved. I do however feel the food could be improved. It is the usual pub grub and if you stray off the Ploughmans etc and choose from the board specials you might end up being disappointed as I was with some overcooked fish.
