The food is bad beyond belief. The last time we came here - February 2005 - we had without doubt the best meal of our lives. The wonderful chef has clearly long since given way to a shockingly bad one. His food is abysmal. Moreover - I believe he posts his own (excellent)reviews - by the name of Darryl. We will never, ever return. Unless the old chef does.[Report for Removal] Tom B

A warm friendly welcome from Jon and Rachel. An old 1850's building that has retained much of its ambience. You should visit on a Sunday to have the carvery. A very good deal.The new menu is superb and watch for items on the specials board.[Report for Removal] Darrell Cooper
