| I went along with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. I am Coeliac and therefore cannot eat 'Gluten'. I checked with the waitress before I ordered but still received bread with my starter which was hidden under my goats cheese! Again, I checked with the waitress before I ordered my dessert, 'Chocolate Truffle'. As I ate my last spoonful there was a biscuit at the bottom of the dessert. When I brought it to their attention, they assured me the starter was gluten free other than the bread and that it was only a tiny biscuit at the bottom of the dessert! | Went to stay with some friends in Barsley and decided to try the Spencer Arms at Cawthorne for an evening meal. I have to say we were not disappointed. The restaurant was full so they gave us a lovely table just off the bar area. The food was superb and the staff were very friendly. | I popped in for something to eat and a pint before setting off for a match at Leeds and was very impressed with the lovely food (best mash I have ever tasted) great service and also the open fires.[Report for Removal] | Richard Hickling Luton Bedfordshire |
