| i can see that some people have obviously had a bad experience of this pub from the reviews on here, but i have always had a lovely time at the fleur de lys. the food is always very good, and the staff are always friendly. i have certainly never found anyone there to be rude. (maybe the problem stems from the customer rather than the staff). would definitely recommend the fleur de lys to anyone i know, and have done on many occasions. everyone who i have ever recommended to go there has always told me that they enjoyed the experience.[Report for Removal] | Gwen Jones Solihull West Mids |

| We were kept waiting 45 min for a chicken pie & fish cakes . When we complained about the wait the manager said it was a reasonable time . We thought not, we asked for our money back and was threaten with being thrown out . [Report for Removal] | C Wheildon Wythall birmingham |

| Great location, pitty about the service. Food took a longtime to be served and was not of any great quality. Landlord seems pretty hopeless and unfortunately this is reflected in the staff. Opening hours and food serving hours seem to vary from day to day, so book ahead if you dare. | Nice country pub in lovely setting, let down abysmally by rude staff, the quality of its food and minuscule overpriced portions. Our food was overcooked to the extreme, the waitress did not know which dish was which and the canal side wooden tables filthy. Some people who were sitting by us, clearly also dissatisfied, were refused a refund when a meal was sent back because “the chef has cooked it now”.
